| The only A4 that unfortunately did not to survive the war, 4469 is pictured outside York Shed on the 29/4/42 having been damaged by a Bomb whilst on running in turns after a General overhaul at Doncaster. Another A4 Herring Gull L.N.E.R. No.4466 took the Name and carried it from 6/1/44 Database-notes:- Condemned after Air Raid on York M.P.D. that also claimed B16 925 |
