| Something of a White Elephant, a victime of Gresley forcing changes upon an excellant Beyer Garrett design with the same result as those built under Stanier on the LMS. This singleton spent some of it's later years as the Lickey Banker . There are stories of the guards vans on good trains having the doors jammed solid by the force exerted on them by this engine. |
